This blog is dedicated to help market rural tourism destinations in Papua New Guinea.

Its aim is to indirectly promote potential host villages and least traveled destinations that are unique in PNG, and to further link these exotic places to tourists, international visitors or holiday makers.

The travel stories published on this blog will also help to identify potential village destinations and in order to promote and protect their indigenous lifestyle, natural environment, cultural heritage, languages and their historical settings as authentic getaways!

PNG Village Travel blog is a marketing platform for the disadvantaged rural host destinations that have potential products such as village stays, cultural groups, forest conservation, botanical, caving, bush trekking and the list to attract eco-savy travelers. It is indeed a platform for those interested in ecotourism. The blog is currently managed by Theo's Guide & Wantok Tours.

Theo's Guide & Wantok Tours is a newly registered local tour guiding venture and operator based in Madang province. The venture was established to cater for incoming tourists from P&O Cruises and FIT travelers in search of professional and local guides as well as tours to our friendly wantok villages!
